Is There a Proper Way of Vaping?

is-there-a-proper-way-of-vaping

Vaping is a straightforward activity. You inhale vapour into your lungs through your mouth. We don’t want to be that guy that dictates how you should do something. However, you must know that there is “proper vaping”. This depends on what type of vape and juice you are using.

Two Types of Vaping

There are actually two different types of proper vaping — mouth to lung and direct lung.

Mouth to Lung (MTL)

An MTL vape kit is like smoking. In this kind of kit, you use a vape juice with high levels of Propylene Glycol (PG). PG vape juice has higher nicotine content. Similar to smoking, you draw vapour into your mouth, hold the vapour for a few seconds, and inhale it into your lungs.
People who want to quit smoking usually opt for the MTK kit.

Direct to Lung (DTL)

If your kit is a DTL kit, then you should inhale the vapour directly into your lungs. No need to hold it in your mouth. DTL kits have high Vegetable Glycerin (VG) content. DTL kits are more commonly used for deeper flavour and cloud chasing.

What About Vape Pods or Vape Sticks?

Vape pods or sticks use a mouth-to-lung style of vaping. Use it like you would use a cigarette. But take note, some pods might require you to press a button as you inhale, others are draw-activated. These kits are made to be disposable.

Conclusion

If you want to enjoy vaping, you need to do it properly. Of course, getting the right kit is also important. Vaping isn’t that complicated though there is a bit of a learning curve. How you vape and what kind of vape you choose all boils down to your personal preferences.

If you are just starting vaping, you can always go for disposable vaping kits for your first choice. From here, you can move it to a customized kit that matches your vaping preferences.

Happy vaping!
